McDonald’s Tiller

The first official Reeve Guide restaurant review — focused on food quality.

Reeve Rating6.2/ 10

McDonald’s Tiller delivered the food quickly, but the meal itself was a mixed experience. The main disappointment was the fries, which arrived a little cold, while the general dining area also felt messier than it should have been.

What I ordered

I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with fries and a Coke.

Food quality

The food quality scored 6 out of 10. The food arrived quickly, which was a positive, but the fries were a little cold. For fast food, temperature and freshness make a big difference, and that pulled the score down.

Service

Service scored 7 out of 10. The food was served quickly and the service came with a smile, which made the interaction feel friendly and positive.

Atmosphere & cleanliness

Atmosphere scored 7 out of 10. It was generally good, although there were a lot of teenagers in the restaurant at the time. The dining area itself was also messy, which took the edge off an otherwise decent atmosphere.

Value

Value scored 5 out of 10. It was acceptable, but the slightly cold fries and overall experience made it feel only average for the money.

The Reeve verdict

Decent overall — and I would go back.

Quick, friendly service was the strongest part of the visit. The Double Quarter Pounder meal arrived quickly, but the fries were a little cold and the messy dining area brought the experience down. Food quality: 6/10, service: 7/10, atmosphere: 7/10, value: 5/10. Final Reeve Rating: 6.2/10. Despite the drawbacks, I would go back.
